Boys Chased By Stuffed Animal; Find Refuge
Twins Lost In Corner. Found Sleeping.
LOUISIANA, MO -- Two boys were found this week, exhausted but unharmed following a play room chase by one of their stuffed animals.

The stuffed animal, whose identity was not released, was being held in police custody today.

The boys, Joshua and Jonathan McElfresh, apparently had been chased throughout the house by the stuffed animal. The animal was known to be missing large amounts of stuffing.

Both boys were found sleeping between a set of dresser drawers and the wall. The twins were being protected by another stuffed animal known only as Superstar.

Authorities were advised that accomplice stuffed animals may still be at large and could pose a threat to other neighborhood children.

PIX NOTES

One afternoon the noise stopped.

That was usually a sign that Josh and Jon had fallen asleep so we went looking for them. A quick look in their bedroom and closet revealed nothing. We checked all rooms upstairs and downstairs but they were not to be found.

Just as panic set in, they were discovered snuggled up and sound asleep between a dresser and wall.
