| WHY'D WE DO THIS?
We're not sure. But we've been thinking about it for a couple of years.
To create pages like this you'll need some computer equipment,
an Internet connection that will store pages for you, and some photographs.
I've had all the equipment stuff for awhile. Vernelle pulled out the photographs
and I decided to do something with them.
It's easy. The details are available here, on the Credits page. But you'll need to beg for all
the details.
Actually, the McElfresh Family Internet Photo Album is
an exercise in progress. There are color photographs that need to be scanned
into the computer and saved as JPEG files (if you don't know what that means,
don't worry...it's not important). I've scanned about 50 photographs so
far. Keep checking the pages for new ones.
Once scanned, the photos need to be dropped into an Internet
page layout program. I have favorites on both the Mac and Windows computers.
Then you have to write something cute so people will look
at the pages, read them, and enjoy them. I haven't done that yet.
Mostly, we wanted to share some photos with friends and
family around the world.
If you're around the world right now then it worked OK.
Let us know what you think. If there's not a photograph
of you, don't feel bad. I scanned photos until I got tired of scanning photos.
If you'll put a picture of us on your web pages on the Internet, then I'll
put one of you on our pages.
